Fourth weekly reflection of internship 1

 On the fourth week, on the fourteenth day, I arrives at the school at 9:15 am, I took 2 class on the day, because I got substitution duty in my class. I taken the topics- Floriculture and horticulture,  Mushroom culture and medicinal plant cultivation. 

On the fifteenth day, I went to school with excitement as it was my first observation. My  optional teacher, Dr. Praveena M was camed to observe my class for the first time in school. My scheduled class was during the fifth period, but due to another observation teacher had at Karunagapally , teacher observed my class during the last period. So, I arranged last period. The topic for the class was polyhouse farming and I used models, videos, charts and activities to deliver the topic. The students were attentive and responded well. After the class, teacher gave  me very positive feedback. She appreciated the use of models, charts and activities, calling them effective and interesting. However, she pointed out that I should avoid using informal languages like eda  to address students during class. Overall, she praised the class and described it as a very good class. It was a memorable day for me, as I received my first recognition during teaching practice. 

On the sixteenth day, I take class on the topic- precision farming. It was an activity based lesson plan. Besides my class, I have substitution duty in other classes.

On the seventeenth day, I has no classes but have substitution duties in other classes. I taken the time to spend the children with games or activities to ensure their participation. 

On the eighteenth day, it was a friday and there was a special assembly sheduled. We came earlier than usual. By 9:10am, all the students had arrived. Along with the teachers, we guided all the students from their classrooms to the assembly area. Afterwards, the headmaster congratulated and awarded medals to students who achieved the highest marks in the onam exams from each class. Additionally, the top- performing students from all classes received trophies along with their medals to inspire the other students to perform better. Our school earned the highest points in the science fair and won the overall championship for social science as well. In the afternoon, there was a PTA meeting, so no regular classes were held. However, we stayed at the school until the designated time of 4:00pm before leaving.
