NATURAL SCIENCE

 This is the last weekly reflection  of teaching practice 2. I almost covered my topic in the previous weeks and the balance topic  was completed in this week.  On the 29th day, I took class in 8C on the topic- Menstruation from the unit - For continuity of generations. I conducted the class through chart, video and activity cards. Through the activity, I impart knowledge to the students effectively. On the day, I had an another class in  8C. So I take an another topic -embryonic development in the uterus.  On the 30th day; the second last day of the teaching phase 2, I took  class in 8C in the 4th period on the topic- hormones. And also I had another class on the 8th period. I took another topic - placenta. It was my last lesson plan. I took the last class with a heart full of joy.  On the last day of my teaching practice, I went it school with a miss of immense joy and deep sadness.  On the 24th, I had a class in 8C, I taken a new topic -  agents of pollination. It doesn't ICT lesson plan followed  class. After the substitution duties, I get another substitution class in 8C. So I conducted Diagnostic test for the students to understand the difficulty of the learners.   On the 25th day, I took basic science class in 8C on the topic - after pollination and also I had another class in 8C on the 8th period so I take an another topic- fertilization.  On the 26th day, I took basic science class on 8C on the topic - male reproductive system. It was an ICT model lesson plan. I conducted the class through  PowerPoint, video  for the class. On that day I had an another class in 8C on the topic -sperm.  On the 27th day, the second period  I took class in 8C, on the topic female reproductive system from the unit - For continuity of generation.  For the innovative work I choose and the topic- " Parts of flower'  from the unit- For the continuity of generations for 8th standard students. During that day, It was my first college optional observation class too. I prepare the innovative work using cardboard, color paper, markers, scissors, glue  etc. I make each parts of the flower  and make a large cardboard for the students to paste each part in the appropriate place and find out the labeled parts. Instead of the demonstration,  students can understand the topic clearly with this innovative work and also help the teachers to evaluate the students understanding level on the topic- parts of the flower. The innovative work aims to understand the parts of the flower and his function. The innovative work helps to understand the students about the position and function  of the each parts of the flower. 

 In the fifth week of  Internship 2  was  so special for me, because my two college teacher observations are completed in this week. On the 20th day, I took pages science class in 8C on the topic- addictive  habit. I  conducted the topic in the class through innovative lesson plan. I took the class through a short story.  The characters of the short story are Arjun Meera and their grandmother. The short story makes the students to awareness about the addictive habits.   On the 21th day, I have first general observation of teaching Phase 2. First period was arranged for the teacher Swathy teacher was came as our general teacher to observe my class. After the prayer and pledge, I started class. I taken the new topic- asexual reproduction through models, charts and activity cards. I take a good class compared to other classes. I am so satisfied for my teaching.  In the 4th week reflection of internship 2, as usual we reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and sign the register. On the 15th day, I took basis science class in 8C on the topic- different stages of growth in human beings. I prepared activities and videos to ensure the students could understand the concept clearly.  On the 16th day, I had substitution in my own class which I utilized to take a topic in class -physical changes in adolescence, which is an Inductive thinking model lesson plan.  On the 17th day, I had class on 8C in the 4th period I taught a new topic -anaemia. For the topic I followed 5E model. Using the chat and activity cards, I taken the class for understandable to the students.  On the 18th day, there was a special assembly on that day. Start at 9:25 a.m. and on the Assembly one of the student from 10I sing a cinematic song.  In the third week, on the 11th day, we went to see the headmaster for informing that we arrived the school again for the part 2 of the internship 2. The students have Christmas exam so we back to our college and then come back to the school on 30/12/24 to complete our teaching practice. On the 11th day, I had class on 8C in the 5th period I asked about their  Christmas exam and not studied any new topic. On the 12th day, I took basic science class in HC on the topic ex-situ conservation. Before starting the topic I revised the important points in the chapter diversity for sustenance. I started the class by showing a few pictures. On the 13th day, I have no classes. But I have substitution duties and other duties like; bringing substitution  list, serving food duty in lunch time etc. On the 14 day I took class in 8C on the topic organisation for protecting environmental activities.
