First weekly reflection of internship 2

In the first day of my teaching practice phase II, we sign the register and went to the area assigned to us. Since this was the Second Phase we had new mentor teachers and new students. So we met the respective teachers. In the first period the teacher introduced to me to the new students in the class. I interacted with them, ask their names and go to know the better. Instead of  the class, we had substitution duties and other duties in the school. In the evening, new headmaster was charged. So the day was memorable, because on the second phase we had new headmaster, mentor teacher and students. 
 On the second day of the school internship 2, we have reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. It was the first day we signing the registere infront of the new headmaster. Today we had sub tuition duties and their class on HC on the 8th period the class ended at 4:00 p.m. 
 On the third day of teaching Phase 2, 27/11/24, have  substitution duties and classes in the school. Have taken remedial  classes for Christmas Exam for the students 8G and 8C. On the free time, I have prepared for next classes.
 On the 4th day of teaching Phase 2, there was a special assembly as it was held to honour the new headmaster. The Assembly was conducted by the students of class 10 E. The presented a moment to the new headmaster. Prizes were also  distributed for the quiz competition. On the day I taken the new topic in class- biodiversity depletion. Other than the classes today also substitution classes in school.
 On the fifth day of teaching Phase 2,      29/11 /24, as usual I reach the school by 9:00 a.m. After signing the register, I went into the designated area and settled in. During the second period, had substitution in my own class, I introduce the new topic- Biodiversity in the Western girls which is a ICT model lesson plan.

 On the fourth week, on the fourteenth day, I arrives at the school at 9:15 am, I took 2 class on the day, because I got substitution duty in my class. I taken the topics- Floriculture and horticulture,  Mushroom culture and medicinal plant cultivation.  On the fifteenth day, I went to school with excitement as it was my first observation. My  optional teacher, Dr. Praveena M was camed to observe my class for the first time in school. My scheduled class was during the fifth period, but due to another observation teacher had at Karunagapally , teacher observed my class during the last period. So, I arranged last period. The topic for the class was polyhouse farming and I used models, videos, charts and activities to deliver the topic. The students were attentive and responded well. Conscientizsation programme

AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY Members :Adhithya Devi S(Natural science ) Staphy Thomas (Physical science ) Venue : SNSMHSS, Elampalloor school classroom    As a part of B. Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainee of SNSMHSS, Elampalloor conducted a conscientization programme on 18 November 2024, on the topic 'AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY'. Our group consist of 2 trainees: Staphy Thomas from physical science option and Adhithya Devi S from natural science optional. We delivered the awareness programme through power point presentation and debate session and conducted in the class 8F consisting of 30 students. Thd introductory part was dealed by staphy and it is detail explained about gender uniformity was provided by me. Then we conducted a debate session and summarized the key points and concluded the class . It was a new experience for both the students and teacher trainees.
