Fifth weekly reflection of internship 2

 In the fifth week of  Internship 2  was  so special for me, because my two college teacher observations are completed in this week. On the 20th day, I took pages science class in 8C on the topic- addictive  habit. I  conducted the topic in the class through innovative lesson plan. I took the class through a short story.  The characters of the short story are Arjun Meera and their grandmother. The short story makes the students to awareness about the addictive habits. 

 On the 21th day, I have first general observation of teaching Phase 2. First period was arranged for the teacher Swathy teacher was came as our general teacher to observe my class. After the prayer and pledge, I started class. I taken the new topic- asexual reproduction through models, charts and activity cards. I take a good class compared to other classes. I am so satisfied for my teaching. Teacher give me a very positive feedback only one suggestion given by the Swathi teacher is don't touch the dress frequently.

 On the 22th day, I took basic science class on 8C on the second period on the topic- spore formation in fungus. 

 On the 23rd day, today was my first optional observation. I am so excited and tension to take the class. I arranged second hour for the teacher to observe my class. I have no substitution duty in first period.  In the second period,  teacher arrived and praveena teacher observed my class. I taken the  topic- Parts of the flower. On this I incorporate innovative work too. Negative work is regarding the parts of flower. Students were excited and activity participate in the activity. After the class teacher give a positive feedback and give suggestion such as I focused more on boys than girls. 5th period I have class in 8C and then taken an another topic - pollination.

  This week is so happy that, I complete my college observation successfully

 On the fourth week, on the fourteenth day, I arrives at the school at 9:15 am, I took 2 class on the day, because I got substitution duty in my class. I taken the topics- Floriculture and horticulture,  Mushroom culture and medicinal plant cultivation.  On the fifteenth day, I went to school with excitement as it was my first observation. My  optional teacher, Dr. Praveena M was camed to observe my class for the first time in school. My scheduled class was during the fifth period, but due to another observation teacher had at Karunagapally , teacher observed my class during the last period. So, I arranged last period. Conscientizsation programme

AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY Members :Adhithya Devi S(Natural science ) Staphy Thomas (Physical science ) Venue : SNSMHSS, Elampalloor school classroom    As a part of B. Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainee of SNSMHSS, Elampalloor conducted a conscientization programme on 18 November 2024, on the topic 'AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY'. Our group consist of 2 trainees: Staphy Thomas from physical science option and Adhithya Devi S from natural science optional. We delivered the awareness programme through power point presentation and debate session and conducted in the class 8F consisting of 30 students. Thd introductory part was dealed by staphy and it is detail explained about gender uniformity was provided by me. Then we conducted a debate session and summarized the key points and concluded the class . It was a new experience for both the students and teacher trainees.
