Fourth weekly reflection of internship 2

 In the 4th week reflection of internship 2, as usual we reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and sign the register. On the 15th day, I took basis science class in 8C on the topic- different stages of growth in human beings. I prepared activities and videos to ensure the students could understand the concept clearly. 

On the 16th day, I had substitution in my own class which I utilized to take a topic in class -physical changes in adolescence, which is an Inductive thinking model lesson plan. 

On the 17th day, I had class on 8C in the 4th period I taught a new topic -anaemia. For the topic I followed 5E model. Using the chat and activity cards, I taken the class for understandable to the students.

 On the 18th day, there was a special assembly on that day. Start at 9:25 a.m. and on the Assembly one of the student from 10I sing a cinematic song. They were awarded the quiz winners by seed which is a new perspective and his congratulation by the headmaster.  On that day I had substitution duties and I had class on 8C on the topic adolescence A period of challenges. It was an activity model class.

 On the 19th day I had class on 8C in the third period. The period I utilised credit told the topic - smoking. For the topic, I followed inquiry training model. Students were attentive  to listening the story and they were actively engaged to identify the problem. 

 On this week, instead of my classes and substitution duties I had engaged to complete my project.

 On the fourth week, on the fourteenth day, I arrives at the school at 9:15 am, I took 2 class on the day, because I got substitution duty in my class. I taken the topics- Floriculture and horticulture,  Mushroom culture and medicinal plant cultivation.  On the fifteenth day, I went to school with excitement as it was my first observation. My  optional teacher, Dr. Praveena M was camed to observe my class for the first time in school. My scheduled class was during the fifth period, but due to another observation teacher had at Karunagapally , teacher observed my class during the last period. So, I arranged last period. The topic for the class was polyhouse farming and I used models, videos, charts and activities to deliver the topic. The students were attentive and responded well. Conscientizsation programme

AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY Members :Adhithya Devi S(Natural science ) Staphy Thomas (Physical science ) Venue : SNSMHSS, Elampalloor school classroom    As a part of B. Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainee of SNSMHSS, Elampalloor conducted a conscientization programme on 18 November 2024, on the topic 'AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY'. Our group consist of 2 trainees: Staphy Thomas from physical science option and Adhithya Devi S from natural science optional. We delivered the awareness programme through power point presentation and debate session and conducted in the class 8F consisting of 30 students. Thd introductory part was dealed by staphy and it is detail explained about gender uniformity was provided by me. Then we conducted a debate session and summarized the key points and concluded the class . It was a new experience for both the students and teacher trainees.
