Sixth weekly reflection of internship 2

 On the 24th, I had a class in 8C, I taken a new topic -  agents of pollination. It doesn't ICT lesson plan followed  class. After the substitution duties, I get another substitution class in 8C. So I conducted Diagnostic test for the students to understand the difficulty of the learners. 

 On the 25th day, I took basic science class in 8C on the topic - after pollination and also I had another class in 8C on the 8th period so I take an another topic- fertilization.

 On the 26th day, I took basic science class on 8C on the topic - male reproductive system. It was an ICT model lesson plan. I conducted the class through  PowerPoint, video  for the class. On that day I had an another class in 8C on the topic -sperm.

 On the 27th day, the second period  I took class in 8C, on the topic female reproductive system from the unit - For continuity of generation. On the day, I had an another class in 8C on the topic - ovum. It was an ICT model lesson plan. Students were more interested and engaged in the class by the use of ICT model class.

 On the 28 day, I taught a new topic - if fertilization fails to occur. On the day I take diagnostic remedial class for the students to understand the unclear topic.

 During this week, I am excited that the teaching that  was going to an end  and few more days only left to complete my teaching practice. I completed 90% of the topic.

 On the fourth week, on the fourteenth day, I arrives at the school at 9:15 am, I took 2 class on the day, because I got substitution duty in my class. I taken the topics- Floriculture and horticulture,  Mushroom culture and medicinal plant cultivation.  On the fifteenth day, I went to school with excitement as it was my first observation. My  optional teacher, Dr. Praveena M was camed to observe my class for the first time in school. My scheduled class was during the fifth period, but due to another observation teacher had at Karunagapally , teacher observed my class during the last period. So, I arranged last period. The topic for the class was polyhouse farming and I used models, videos, charts and activities to deliver the topic. The students were attentive and responded well. Conscientizsation programme

AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY Members :Adhithya Devi S(Natural science ) Staphy Thomas (Physical science ) Venue : SNSMHSS, Elampalloor school classroom    As a part of B. Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainee of SNSMHSS, Elampalloor conducted a conscientization programme on 18 November 2024, on the topic 'AWARENESS ON GENDER UNIFORMITY'. Our group consist of 2 trainees: Staphy Thomas from physical science option and Adhithya Devi S from natural science optional. We delivered the awareness programme through power point presentation and debate session and conducted in the class 8F consisting of 30 students. Thd introductory part was dealed by staphy and it is detail explained about gender uniformity was provided by me. Then we conducted a debate session and summarized the key points and concluded the class . It was a new experience for both the students and teacher trainees.
